To start off the new year I figured I'd make a post about some of the
little bits of my vocabulary that may be confusing to people who don't
live in my little crazy brain space. Very specifically I'll be covering
one of the descriptive terms I use that often needs explaining. And
that is:
Hannah Montana
Yes, Hannah Montana. There's a back story here, I swear.
A good friend of mine took my fiance and I on a trip to Yellowstone as an engagement gift. She always carried a little bag of necessities in her backpack that had band-aids, floss, small scissors, and the like. The little things you think you don't need but actually do. Within this little bag of random she had a tube of hand sanitizer. But it wasn't just any hand sanitizer, it was Hannah Montana hand sanitizer.
We speculated on how strong the stuff actually was and figured it must be somewhere above medical grade sanitizer, due to how much it stung and the overpowering alcohol smell that quickly filled any confined space. Thus, the adjective Hannah Montana was born. Essentially it refers to anything that's stronger than it should be, or is surprisingly strong.
That's all for today. Happy (belated) New Years!
